EO Member Spotlight

Neil Amrhein

Cimple Solutions, Inc dba: ALL ABOUT CARE

Proud father of three healthy children with my boss and wife, Melissa. When I am not busy with my family, I enjoy  serving the Nashville community as a Rotarian, an advisory board member of the Martin Center, an advocate for Senior Ride Nashville and a member of both the EO and the Middle TN Workforce Development Boards. Some of my hobbies include golf, hiking, tennis and the University of Georgia football. Before founding All About Care in 2008, I have been employed by the Ritz Carlton, the National Republican Congressional Committee and EMC Corporation.

What is a personal piece of advice (business advice/saying/quote) that you lean on and could pass on to others?
I have been so fortunate over 25 years of business (and life) experience to have received unconditional advice and guidance from so many folks. One phrase that has stuck with me:  Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events and great minds discuss ideas.

Best business book you’ve ever read?
Top three business books:
1. Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill
2. Traction, Gino Wickman
3. Built To Sell, John Warrillow

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?
In the service business, know your customer categories and the appropriate customer service levels. At All About Care, we originally had only one customer category and one service level – luxury clients with luxury service modeled after my professional experience with the Ritz Carlton. Now, All About Care has five customer categories and two service levels.

How to you de-stress after a particularly hard day?
Oliva Melanio cigar or several sets of tennis

What EO event are you most looking forward to attending in the next few months?
Moveable Feast

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?
Birth weight = 11 pounds, 10 ounces

Any exciting plans for Fall that you would like to share?
The biggest plan for the Fall is the launch of my newest company called My Goat. My Goat is the technology company that sells subscription based lawn mowing services using robotic auto mowers. Easy, convenient and affordable monthly subscriptions with noise free, earth friendly (zero carbon footprint) battery robots that mow without humans. My Goat reduces labor 44% for landscaping companies and lowers costs by 30% for individual subscribers. We anticipate 120 weekly My Goat subscribers by Halloween, 480 by Christmas and over 2,000 by Tax Day 2019.
