We have created 7 new community groups based on home zip codes.   These groups have been formed as an effort to connect members on a smaller scale for a sense of fellowship, safety and belonging. We will be hosting events in July and August, so please be on the lookout for an invitation for your group!

The Nashville Post featured several local companies that adapted and recovered from the coronavirus pandemic, including Ozark River Manufacturing [Martin Watts] which became essential to government agencies and hospitals in sudden need of better hygiene practices.  

Entrepreneur listed Rory Vaden’s [Brand Builders Group] TED Talk “How to Multiply Your Time” as one of the best TED Talks about time management. 

David Trainer [New Constructs] was mentioned in Benzinga for saying U.S. companies are in better shape as a whole than Wall Street seems to realize. The Nashville Post mentioned that New Constructs has created an advisory board of fintech leaders and experts. 

Ricky Scott [The Kingston Group] was listed in the Williamson Source as a new board member of High Hopes Development Center. 

The Nashville Soccer Club [Christopher Redhage] was mentioned in the Daily News Journal in an article about its rookies staying optimistic this season. WSMV mentioned that blasting for the new Fairgrounds stadium will begin soon.

Nashville Scene featured Pennington Distilling Co.’s [Jeff Pennington] shift to producing hand sanitizer during the coronavirus pandemic. The article also mentioned that Pennington’s distributor, Best Brands [Ryan Moses], was hit by the March 3 tornado and unable to ship products for two weeks. 

The Nashville Post and Louisville Business Journal featured Clear Blue Equity [Nicholad Ogden] for purchasing a portfolio of apartment communities in Louisville, Lexington and Southern Indiana. The Kirkland Company [William Kirkland] was mentioned for representing Read Property Group in the sale.

The Nashville Business Journal and the Nashville Post mentioned that a luxury auto dealer bought the property that formerly housed the headquarters of Novatech [Darren Metz] before it relocated to Charlotte Avenue. Industry Analysts mentioned that Novatech will debut an Atlanta call center to provide support for managed IT and managed print customers.  

A Nevada SportsNet writer covered her visit to Broadway and included her experience riding a Sprocket Rocket [Emmit Martin] party bike. 

Executive Chef Andrew Little of Josephine [James Lewis] shared his 4th of July cooler essentials in Forbes

The Lane Report listed six properties that The Kirkland Company [William Kirkland] recently brokered in Kentucky and Indiana. 

Advance Financial [Michael Hodges] was listed in the Tennessee Tribune as a major sponsor of the Literary Luncheon, a fundraising event for Lighting the Path for Girls, signature program of the Nashville chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc. 

Eater Nashville reported that construction is moving along for Locust, the newest restaurant concept by Strategic Hospitality [Ben and Max Goldberg]. Hoodline listed The Patterson House as the best cocktail bar in Nashville. A Nashville Scene writer referenced her meal at The Catbird Seat in an article about how it’s possible to experience bar culture and creativity without alcohol. The sommelier at Bastion and wine consultant at Henrietta Red was featured in the Nashville Scene for doing a blind wine taste test with the writer as part of the Scene’s 2020 Drinking Issue. The chef of Henrietta Red and The Party Line was mentioned in The Counter for shifting her business operations to meal kit delivery during the coronavirus pandemic. 

Smith Gee Studio [Hunter Gee] will act as the architect on a 27-story mixed-use building being planned for Broadway, according to the Nashville Post.

The Williamson Source listed Hardaway Construction [David Frazier] as the construction company working on the expansion of Jaguar Land Rover Nashville’s service and parts department. 

Shervin Eftekhari [Zander Insurance] was named to Oz Arts’ board of directors, as reported by the Nashville Post. The article also mentioned Max Goldberg [Strategic Hospitality] as an existing board member. 

Presales have begun on Core Development Services [Mark Deutschmann] High View Cottages and Flats, a residential community in East Nashville’s Highland Heights, according to the Nashville Post

The Nashville Business Journal featured a college student who used his knowledge and relationships from a position at School Facility Management [Chris Corby] to start his own sanitizing service.

The Wedgewood-Houston building housing Smokin’ Thighs [Matthew Carney] will have a second story constructed after it receives Metro approval, according to the Nashville Post. The restaurant was also featured in The Atlantic by a sports writer listing his favorite restaurants around the country.

The Nashville Business Journal featured Candice Bruder [Pure Sweat + Float Studio] in its The Boss series. 

Michael Brody-Waite [Great Leaders Live Like Drug Addicts] appeared on the Creative Power Hour with Marcus Whitney to discuss the mask-free movement in the midst of the unprecedented times. He was also featured on The Coaching Show discussing how great leaders do what drug addicts do. New York Trend NYC featured a summary of Brody-Waite’s book “Great Leaders Live Like Drug Addicts: How to Lead Like Your Life Depends On It.” 

The Tennessean mentioned that Bell & Associates [Darek Bell] will break ground on a new pedestrian bridge at Shelby Park in East Nashville. The Nashville Business Journal listed the financing of a new apartment complex that will include a Corsair Distillery
