What is a personal piece of advice (business advice/saying/quote) that you lean on and could pass on to others?

Your new life is going to cost you your old one.

If I really didn’t believe this then I would be in a dark place. I really believe, both personally and professionally, that the things in your life happen for you not to you. Embrace the challenge, the change and the setbacks to move forward. To make better decisions, to reset your priorities and to reinvent yourself for the better.
Best business book you’ve ever read?

Visioneering by Andy Stanley That’s one of my favorites. It’s not specifically for business but I always applied it that way.

And, depending on your business model, I highly recommend Dotcom Secrets and Expert Secrets by Russell Brunson - It’s among some of the few marketing books that actually give you all the information you need to make it happen

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?

Having business partners (not including my current one aka husband)! Is is important to remember who you get in business with today will not always be the same person 5 or 10 years from now. As you change, so will they. Partnerships are just hard. As you grow professionally and personally what you want changes and it doesn’t always align with that of the other person. As with anything, having a partner is a big risk. Better know what you’re doing and you better have it written down with legally binding contracts!

How to you de-stress after a particularly hard day?

I play with my kids! Swimming and pool time is the family fav! There is nothing like playing with my kids that reminds me of what is really important. Regardless of how stressful my day is when I come home and I see my kids I am nothing but grateful and thankful for the healthy, happy and beautiful family I’ve been given

What EO event are you most looking forward to attending in the next few months?

Moveable Feast

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?

I was an art major

Any exciting plans for Fall that you would like to share?

Yes, after having a baby this summer and living the hermit life I am emerging back into society! Dinners, barre class, showers and leaving the house are my big plans! Oh, and a trip to Las Ventanas in Cabo!!! Look it up... amazing!
