What is a personal piece of advice (business advice/saying/quote) that you lean on and could pass on to others?

“The art of communication is the language of leadership.”
-James Humes

"If you think you're too small to make an impact, try spending the night in a room with a couple mosquitos.”
-Billy McBride

"Ne changez pas votre reve. Changez le monde”  translation: "Don't change your dreams, change the world”

Best business book you’ve ever read?

There are soo many great ones, it's hard to choose just one. Here are a few of my favorites

Creativity, Inc
Radical Candor
Shoe Dog

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?

Choose your partners wisely.

We often spend a lot of time on the front end of a deal, figuring out how to get in to business with each other. We ought to spend just as much time, if not more, thinking about how we will get OUT of business if there comes a time when partners are no longer in alignment.

How do you de-stress after a particularly hard day?

I like watching sports, having quiet time to meditate or read. I also find that journaling, especially in gratitude, can be very effective for shifting mindset.

What EO event are you most looking forward to attending in the next few months?

All of them! But the all-white holiday party sounds especially awesome :)

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?

I was once a contestant on the Price is Right.

I've traveled to 48/50 states, and hope to get the last 2 in 2020!

Any exciting plans for the Holidays or Winter that you would like to share?

Spending time with family and hitting the "RESET" button to prepare for my best year yet.
