Greg Siskind [Siskind Susser] wrote an article for actress Alyssa Milano’s new website, Patriot Not Partisan, about the growing need for immigration lawyers under the Trump administration.

DSi [Tom Turner] was mentioned in a WBIR story for being hired by TEMA to investigate the lost 911 calls that were placed during the wildfires in Sevier County.

Vaco [Jerry Bostelman] was featured in the Nashville Business Journal and the Nashville Post for acquiring a Toronto-based recruiting and consulting firm. The company was also featured in the Nashville Business Journal and Staffing Industry Analysts for one of its subsidiaries purchasings a Dallas executive search firm.

Ben Goldberg and Max Goldberg [Strategic Hospitality] were featured in a Billboard article about their local restaurant empire and Nashville’s evolving status as a design, food, fashion and art destination. Bastion and Henrietta Red were featured in the Nashville Scene, the Tennessean and the Nashville Business Journal for being named among America’s 50 best new restaurants of 2017 by Bon Appétit. Pinewood Social was mentioned in a Tennessean article about places to eat and drink during the upcoming solar eclipse. The restaurant was also featured in a News.com.au article as a recommended bar to visit while in Nashville. The Los Angeles Times mentioned The Catbird Seat for its various flavored oils.

The Nashville Post mentioned Smith Gee Studio [Robert Gee] for serving as architect on a 15-unit residential project in the Cleveland Park district.

The Tennessean mentioned M.L. Rose [Austin Ray] in an article about the growing City Heights neighborhood. The Nashville Post reported on the ongoing construction of a new M.L. Rose location in Capitol View.

Family News:

Arnie Malham’s [cj Advertising] daughter, Sydney Malham, and her travel soccer team, the Tennessee Soccer Club U18 Girls, won the US Youth Soccer National Championship on Sunday, July 30 in Frisco, Texas. Sydney (the team’s goalkeeper) was honored with this year’s Golden Glove Award for her outstanding performance as goalkeeper during the tournament, giving up only four goals in a total of five games. The team won five straight games over six days outscoring their opponents 13-4 in the process.
