What is a personal piece of advice (business advice/saying/quote) that you lean on and could pass on to others?

"If you are really good at what you do, then you have the freedom to be who you want." - Sam Zell. This quote inspires me to be my best at work, family, relationships, community involvement..you name it! As if I can give my all, then I will reap even more!

Best business book you’ve ever read?

The Founder's Mentality. This book helped me to understand why it's critical to build a team with a foundation of insurgency.

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?

Hiring too fast when I was in the weeds with work. Talk about a back fire!

How to you de-stress after a particularly hard day?

Usually with running, family time or wine...or all three!

What EO event are you most looking forward to attending in the next few months?

All of them! Really looking forward to meeting everyone and diving into my forum!

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?

I love taking risks! So far, I have been skydiving, ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain and am looking for more way to push myself!

Any exciting plans for summer that you would like to share?

Travel! Both professionally and personally, I love to travel. This summer, we are heading back to Maui, visiting family in the mountains of North Carolina and planning a trip to Scotland/Ireland/England. Not to mention my forum trip to Cuba (early fall)!
