Every year we anonymously survey the group on how much we want to get out of our of forum in regards to our business, being buddies, or finding the ever-elusive balance. Every member assigns a percentage to those 3 that equals 100%. Then we talk about the results. This way we make sure we are aligned on our desires for our time together.

The Tennessee Tribune announced that Advance Financial [Michael Hodges] won a Gold One Planet Award for the Fastest Growing Company of the Year in 2019.

Community Impact Newspaper mentioned EO Nashville’s December presentation to Mayor John Cooper about top concerns and suggestions to make Nashville an even greater city, and quoted Bethany Newman [st8mnt].

David Waddell [Waddell & Associates] was a guest on Yahoo! Finance, speaking about global markets in relation to the Coronavirus. 

Eakin Partners [Barry Smith] is developing a Rolling Mill Hill site, according to the Nashville Post. The Nashville Business Journal reported that Smith is representing a Nashville investor in a land sale.

The Tennessean listed Sperry’s [Sam Sanchez] as one of the top 10 old-school Nashville restaurants. 

Pfeffer Torode Architecture [James Pfeffer] is handling the design updates to an East Nashville building, as reported by the Nashville Post.

The Tennessean featured five soups to try in Nashville and included Burger Up’s [James Lewis] loaded baked potato soup.

Jennifer Halverson [Adventureworks] was quoted in a story by WTVF Nashville about a woman who lost her all-expenses paid trip to Nashville on Wheel of Fortune. Halverson’s company headed an effort to recreate the prize package for the woman. 

The Nashville Post and Nashville Business Journal announced that Strategic Hospitality [Benjamin & Max Goldberg] has landed a permit for its new restaurant, Locust. The Catbird Seat and Bastion made the Tennessean’s list of Nashville’s top 25 restaurants for the new decade. The Nashville Scene announced Bastion’s chef is part of a restaurant swap event. Henrietta Red was included in a guide to Germantown by StyleBlueprint. Henrietta Red’s chef was quoted in Food & Wine about her favorite music to listen to while she cooks. 

The Nashville Post reported that Smith Gee Studio [Hunter Gee] designed a two-story office building that will be built in Germantown. 

The Blowout Co. [Leslie Embry] was featured as one of the best hair salons in Nashville by Hoodline.

Village Real Estate [Mark Deutschmann] merged with Parks Realty, creating the largest real estate firm in Nashville, as reported by the Tennessean.

The Tennessean featured Parkside Builders’ [Brian Chastain] design center in an article about builders offering design studios to help home buyers choose finishes. 

Eater Nashville listed Smokin Thighs [Matthew Carney], Beyond the Edge [Matthew Charette] and Sam’s Place [Sam Sanchez] as three places to watch the Super Bowl in Nashville. 

Jeff Bradford [the Bradford Group] offered advice on what a business needs to consider before doing a publicity stunt in Forbes.

WATE Knoxville reported that Bell & Associates [Darek Bell] is completing a sidewalk improvement project in East Knoxville. Bell will soon sell a property he owns in The Nations, according to the Nashville Post.

Your Williamson announced the release of Andy Bailey’s [Petra Coach] new book, “Vitamin B (for Business),” and an excerpt from the book was featured in StartupNation
