The Louisville Business First mentioned Bristol Development Group’s [Ashlyn Hines] plan to build a seven-story apartment building and retail space near Butchertown. Bristol was also mentioned in the Dallas Business Journal for breaking ground on a mixed-use project in Frisco, TX.

Medalogix [Dan Hogan] was mentioned in the Nashville Post as a finalist in the Nashville Technology Council’s company of the year award. Dan Hogan is also a finalist for the innovator of the year award. Medalogix’s promotion of Elliott Wood to COO was covered in the Nashville Post.

John Huber [Moo Creative Media] wrote his biweekly Tennessean column about his Nashville Christmas list ideas for grown-ups.

Julie May [bytes of knowledge] wrote a column for the Tennessean about how cognitive computing is the next big thing on the horizon for technology.

The Memphis News Daily mentioned Jason McConnell and Patrick Burke [Seed Hospitality] in its coverage of Lucky Belly’s grand opening. The publication also included the restaurant in its list of places to go and things to do in Nashville this season. Nashville Eater covered the opening of Lucky Belly, as well. Pictures from the restaurant’s launch appeared online at the Tennessean.

Tim Ozgener [OZ Arts Nashville] was featured in a Nashville Scene article in regards to his Cocktails and Cigars class at his West Nashville facility.

Fusion quoted John Rowley [Fletcher| Rowley] in an article about Obama’s immigration speech in Nashville.

The Nashville Post reported Rustici Software [Michael Rustici] as a finalist for Nashville Technology Council’s company of the year award. A Rustici Software employee is also a finalist for marketing innovator of the year.

Entrepreneur shared an article about Paul Jankowski’s [New Heartland Group] book, Speak American Too, which uses new researching findings to describe the importance of cultural relevance when positioning a brand. C-Suite Book Club also featured Jankowski’s new book. In addition, Brand Channel shared a question and answer segment with Jankowski, explaining the findings of his new book and his successes.

Success Magazine’s latest issue featured an article on Angela Proffitt [Angela Proffitt,LLC] and the ways she has modernized the wedding and event industry.

John Burchfield, executive vice president of DSi [Tom Turner] wrote an article for Healthcare Business Today with insight on how to create a document retention policy.Greg Siskind [Siskind Susser] wrote an op-ed about Obama’s action on immigration for the Sunday Memphis Commercial Appeal’s viewpoint section. Also, one of Bloomberg BNA’s Immigration Reports quoted Siskind based on a call he participated in for 300 U.S. employers. A separate issue quoted Siskind as a result of his presentation at the Physician Immigration Law Institute in Washington, DC.

Andy Bailey[Petra Coach] wrote an article for AllBusiness.com on synchronizing your team and “rowing” in the same direction. His Tennessean article focused on the four rules of business you can’t afford to forget.

The Nashville Business Journal featured Darek Bell [Corsair Distillery/Bell and Associates Construction] in an article about his success with both Corsair Distillery and Bell and Associates Construction. Corsair’s new High-Grav Beer Lab was covered in the Nashville Business Journal and Nashville Scene. The distillery also appeared in a Park City Daily News article on craft distilleries in Kentucky.
