Corsair Distillery [Darek Bell] is one of the many distilleries across the state that are trying to keep up with the demand for hand sanitizer, according to the Tennessean.

The Nashville Post mentioned Climb Nashville [Lance Brock] for its proximity to a Sylvan Heights property that is being eyed for a multi-unit residential building. 

Michael Brody-Waite [Great Leaders Live Like Drug Addicts] appeared on various podcasts, including The Action Catalyst, Manage 2 Win, The Melting Pot with Dominic Monkhouse and Napkin Game Plan to tell his story and talk about the mask-free leadership movement. RealLeaders quoted Brody-Waite in an article about how CEOs and executives are leading their companies from home. 

WKRN reported that Adam Capps [ACS Commercial Roofing] is donating personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies to health care workers across Middle Tennessee, and is raising money for the cause through a GoFundMe page

Matt Charette [MDC Group] was photographed by the Tennessean in front of a “Nashville Strong” mural painted on Boston Commons after the March 3 tornado damaged several of his buildings. 

The Nashville Scene reported that the chef of Henrietta Red [Benjamin & Max Goldberg] is part of the newly-formed Tennessee Action for Hospitality, a group of hospitality employees banded together to help each other and the community. Henrietta Red topped Hoodline’s list of the best spots in Nashville to spend big on seafood. 

Burger Up’s [James Lewis] peach margarita was mentioned in Eater Nashvilles complete Nashville cookbook guide.

Good Wood Nashville [Dave Puncochar] is selling “Nashville Strong” plaques and yard signs to raise money for Nashville businesses impacted by COVID-19, as reported by WTVF and WSMV. WSMV also featured Puncochar and Good Wood Nashville on its “Big Joe on the Go” segment.

M.L.Rose [Austin Ray] was featured by the Nashville Scene as one of this week's takeout picks. Thrillist recommended Von Elrod’s Angry Bird spicy chicken sausage as one of Nashville’s best takeout dishes.

David Waddell [Waddell and Associates] was quoted by the Daily Memphian for what to know about COVID-19 Small Business Administration disaster lending. Commercial Appeal quoted Waddell and Associates’ Chief Financial Officer in an article about financial scamming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Nashville Post reported that First Horizon Foundation is committing $2.5 million to nonprofits supporting COVID-19 relief efforts. First Horizon Bank has adjusted its service model in response to the COVID-19 pandemic – the bank’s branches will serve customers through its drive-thru windows or by appointment in the lobbies, according to Clarksville Online, FranklinIs and the Nashville Post. FranklinIs and the Nashville Business Journal reported that First Horizon is taking measures to help customers who are financially affected by the pandemic. Business Williamson quoted First Horizon’s Director of Government Guaranteed Lending Adrienne Sipe in an article about COVID-19 Small Business Administration loans. Knox News and the Tennessean published a column by Middle Tennessee Region President Carol Yochem about the importance of education in Nashville, and how First Horizon Foundation is creating a bridge to make college more accessible. The Nashville Post, FranklinIs, Williamson Source and WTVF NewsChannel 5 reported that the First Horizon Foundation has partnered with the American Red Cross to raise money for Middle Tennessee tornado relief. The Tennessee Bankers March/April 2020 issue included Sameer Gupta’s appointment as managing director of the Speciality Healthcare Group, Carol Yochem’s President’s Volunteer Service Award and her visit to the New York Stock Exchange, and First Horizon personnel at Cheekwood’s new Children’s Garden, which is supported by the bank. Nashville Pride covered the Small & Diverse Business forum, presented by First Horizon.
