The Chattanoogan announced that Advance Financial [Mike Hodges] is hosting a food drive at its Chattanooga locations from Nov. 12 - Dec. 12.

Edley’s Bar-B-Que [Will Newman] was featured in a Nooga.com article for recently opening in Chattanooga’s historic North Shore building.

NovaCopy [Darren Metz] was featured in the Nashville Business Journal for acquiring an Atlanta-based company.

A member of Bone McAllester Norton [Charles Robert Bone] was quoted in a NewsChannel5 story about companies that don’t have HR departments.

Michael Burcham [Narus Health] was mentioned in a Nashville Post Q&A as a great mentor to local entrepreneurs.

The Nashville Entrepreneur Center [Michael Brody-Waite] was mentioned in the Nashville Post for fueling the momentum making Nashville a desirable place for growing companies. A tech startup working out of the EC was mentioned in the Nashville Business Journal.

Mark Deutschmann [Core Development] has released a new book, One-Mile Radius – Building Community from the Core – to share how he built his successful real estate business while revitalizing Nashville’s core neighborhoods and supporting local nonprofits. All proceeds from the book go to the Village Fund. Core Development was mentioned in the Tennessean for receiving approval of specific plan zoning to build up to 190 residential units on East Trinity Lane. Core Development was also featured in the Nashville Business Journal and the Nashville Post for its upcoming 34-unit residential project in Wedgewood-Houston. The Nashville Business Journal reported that Mark Deutschmann has been named to Mayor Megan Barry’s transit task force.

Civil Site Design Group [Kevin Gangaware] was mentioned in the Nashville Post as the engineer for a residential project in Wedgewood-Houston. The group was also mentioned in the Tennessean for helping Cornerstone Church file its application for athletic fields.

Rebusiness Online highlighted Bristol Development Group’s [Ashlyn Hines Meneguzzi] new multifamily development in Louisville.

The Nashville Business Journal mentioned Bell & Associates Construction [Darek Bell] as a tenant of the Brentwood Commons development, which it also built.

M.L. Rose [Austin Ray] was noted in the Nashville Post as one of the future retail tenants of the Capitol View building in downtown Nashville.

A representative of the Nashville Soccer Club [Christopher Redhage] was quoted in the Tennessean about the final proposal before the vote for a Major League Soccer stadium in Nashville. The Club was also mentioned in the Tennessean, the Nashville Scene and another Tennessean article about what the vote means for Nashville. The Tennessean, NBC Sports, SportsPro and the Nashville Business Journal mentioned the Club in articles about stadium financing. Yahoo Sports mentioned the Club in a story about which cities are favored to be chosen for the stadium.

Barry Smith [Eakin Partners] was quoted in the Tennessean about the sale of the downtown Citizens Plaza Building, as well as future development possibilities of the space.
